Honeywell Safety Approved Installers
In an unregulated industry, we proudly serve as Honeywell Height Safety Systems Approved Installers. Trained and certified by Honeywell, we ensure that all systems and products meet stringent safety and quality requirements. Honeywell Safety Products, a globally recognized manufacturer, remains integral to our operations.
Our History
Founded in 2004 by two passionate abseilers, HSNZ began with a mission to provide specialized fall arrest installation solutions. Recognizing a gap in the industry, they quickly established a professional partnership with Honeywell, laying the foundation for long-term growth and industry excellence.
In 2010 Carl joined the team on a casual basis, bringing expertise in fabrication, structural welding, and maintenance engineering. When the opportunity arose, in 2018, Carl purchased the business, expanding its capabilities to include crane testing and a broader range of height safety solutions.
By 2021, as the company continued to evolve, clients expressed that the name 'Height Services' no longer fully captured the scope of services offered. In response, the business rebranded as HSNZ – The Height Safety & Engineering Professionals, reinforcing its commitment to both safety and engineering excellence.
Since then, HSNZ has continued to grow. Carl’s wife, Kim, joined the team to manage administration and reporting, allowing Carl to focus on hands-on work and client relationships. The team further expanded with the addition of Malakai, followed by Ryan, strengthening HSNZ’s ability to deliver high-quality solutions across New Zealand.
We are dedicated to customer satisfaction and providing solutions!
